The Bokun & Kościuszko Clarinet and Guitar Duo is a musical ensemble whose aspiration is to rediscover the greatest masterpieces of chamber music from Schubert (Sonata Arpeggione,
the most well-known chamber music masterpiece of the Romantic composer
in a remarkably unique adaptation for clarinet and guitar), through
20th-century French composers (Debussy, Ravel, Dyens), to a contemporary
chamber and solo music repertoire (Szewczyk, Smutny).
The creation of this exceptional duo was sparked by its members’ passion for chamber music. While placing great emphasis on the quality of their artistic expression, which reaches a broad spectrum of audience, the young ensemble finds inspiration for interpretative ideas in the many years of chamber music performance in cooperation with other instrumentalists.
